Formed in utero in 1993, The Doone Brothers are a two piece folk band from Belfast comprising of twin brothers Sean and James Doone. They play a mixture of original material and their favourite folk songs from the likes of John Prine, Townes Van Zandt and Blaze Foley. James communicates through dark lyricism whilst Sean brings a bluegrass element to the table, a table James refuses to eat at.
